Blue Bend Rec Area

This developed campground in the Monongahela National Forest offers electric hookups for sites that can accommodate vehicles up to 60 feet long. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. The campground is reachable by passenger car and is located about 7 miles from Falling Spring, the nearest town for supplies. Set in a wooded valley at 1,860 feet, the area provides opportunities for hiking, fishing, swimming in Anthony Creek, and wildlife viewing. Available facilities include flush toilets, showers, and running water in summer, with vault toilets and a hand pump for water in the spring and fall. A 5-mile loop trail offers three scenic overlooks.
