Blue Lake Campground is a developed site in the Pike-San Isabel National Forest, situated at an elevation of 10,500 feet. The campground offers 16 sites, some reservable and some first-come, first-served, that can accommodate vehicles up to 36 feet long. Each site provides a picnic table, fire ring, and grill, with vault toilets and drinking water available. A tributary of the Cuchara River runs through the site, and the nearby Blue and Bear lakes are stocked for fishing. The area also offers trail access for biking and hiking. La Veta, the nearest town for supplies, is about 15 miles away.
