Crescent Mining Camp is a developed cabin site in the Pike-San Isabel National Forest. This reservable site consists of two rustic, historic cabins rented together, which sleep a total of six people. Tent and RV camping is also permitted for renters. The cabins are located at an elevation of 10,000 feet and have no electricity, heat, or running water. Visitors must pack in their own water and pack out all trash. The site is accessible to passenger vehicles but is adjacent to a road with heavy off-highway vehicle traffic. Nearby recreation includes hiking trails into the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness, fishing at Clear Creek Reservoir, and access to OHV routes. The nearest town for supplies is Tincup, about 17 miles away.
