South Meadows is a developed campground in the Pike-San Isabel National Forest. Sites are reservable and have fire rings and picnic tables. Vault toilets and drinking water are available. Set at 8,000 feet among ponderosa pines, the campground can accommodate vehicles up to 84 feet in length. The nearest town for supplies is Woodland Park, 5 miles south. The paved, multi-use Centennial Trail is accessible directly from the campground for hiking and bicycling, and nearby Manitou Lake offers fishing.
