Southside Campground - Lake Isabel

Southside Campground is a developed, reservable site in the Pike-San Isabel National Forest at an elevation of 8,600 feet. Located by Lake Isabel, it has pull-through sites designed for RVs under 30 feet, though tent camping is permitted. RV hookups are not available. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table, with vault toilets and drinking water centrally located. Activities focus on non-motorized boating and fishing on the 40-acre lake, along with hiking and bicycling on nearby trails like the Cisneros Trail. The campground is reachable by passenger car and is about 7 miles from the town of Beulah, the nearest stop for supplies.
