Due to hazardous tree removal, there is no shade. The no-wake reservoir is open to non-motorized boats for canoeing, kayaking, sailing, and fishing for rainbow, brown, and brook trout. Nearby trails support hiking, and the area is suitable for wildlife viewing and birding. Sites include picnic tables, fire rings, grills, and tent pads; vault toilets are available.
