Buffumville Lake (Group Shelter)

This developed campground at Buffumville Lake offers access for passenger vehicles. Activities center on the 200-acre lake, which permits motorized and non-motorized boating from a concrete boat launch. Anglers can fish for species including largemouth bass, northern pike, and yellow perch from the shore or two accessible fishing platforms. The site includes a swimming beach, a day-use picnic area with over 50 sites, and a disc golf course with 18-hole professional and 12-hole amateur layouts. A 7.2-mile trail for hiking and mountain biking circles the lake. Park rangers may offer interpretive programs. The nearest town for supplies is Oxford, about 2 miles away.
