Gallo Campground is a developed campground located within Chaco Culture National Historical Park. Sites are reservable and include tent pads, picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. The campground offers restrooms with flush toilets, but no showers or hookups. One site is ADA-accessible, and the maximum vehicle length is 41 feet. While accessible by passenger car, the final 13 miles of the northern approach and 20 miles of the southern approach are unpaved and can be difficult when wet. The nearest town for supplies is Lake Valley, about 12 miles away. Park activities include hiking and biking on trails leading to cultural sites and interpretive programs at the visitor center.
