La Wis Wis Campground

This developed campground in Gifford Pinchot National Forest is located within an old-growth forest at the confluence of the Ohanapecosh and Cowlitz rivers. The 122 sites are reservable and include walk-in tent options. While some loops have narrow roads, the Hatchery Loop can accommodate RVs up to 60 feet. Sites include picnic tables and fire rings; vault toilets and drinking water are available. Popular activities include hiking, fishing for trout and whitefish, biking, and wildlife viewing. The nearest town for supplies is Packwood, about 6 miles away.
