Anan Lake Cabin

This developed campground in Tongass National Forest offers opportunities for wildlife viewing, fishing, and hiking. The site is accessible by passenger car. The nearest town for supplies is Wrangell, about 31 miles away. This remote, backcountry cabin sleeps four people in bunks and includes a table, an oil stove, and an outhouse. There is no water or electricity; visitors must bring their own supplies, including stove oil and drinking water. A provided skiff with oars allows for exploring the lake, but guests must bring personal flotation devices. Fishing for cutthroat trout and salmon is available in the lake and nearby creek, depending on the season.
