Brewery Creek Guard Station

This historic guard station cabin is a reservable rental in the Rio Grande National Forest. Located at an elevation of 9,500 feet in an aspen grove, the site is 14 miles from Saguache, the nearest town for supplies. The two-room cabin accommodates up to nine people and has a propane stove, heater, and refrigerator. Outside, there is a vault toilet, a hand pump for water, and fire rings. The site is a base for hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and wildlife viewing. In winter, the area is used for cross-country skiing and other snow sports. Vehicles and trailers must be under 25 feet in length.
