This developed campground in the Rio Grande National Forest sits in a meadow on a bench above South Clear Creek, about 12 miles from Creede. It contains 15 sites, including pull-throughs and dead-end spurs from 35 to 55 feet long, accommodating recreational vehicles. Each site has a view of Bristol Head Peak, with spruce and aspen trees providing some shade. A short trail from the campground leads to an overlook of the Clear Creek Canyons and a waterfall. The area is suitable for wildlife viewing, hiking, and fishing. The camping limit is 14 days.
