Gold Park Campground

This developed campground in White River National Forest offers 12 campsites in a forested setting along Homestake Creek. The nearest town for supplies is Red Cliff, about 8 miles away. Activities include hiking, picnicking, auto touring, and wildlife viewing. Several trailheads into the Holy Cross Wilderness are within driving distance, and Homestake Reservoir is located 3 miles west of the campground. Due to increased bear activity, a food storage order is in effect. All food and refuse must be stored in a hard-sided vehicle or an approved bear-resistant container.
