This developed campground is managed by Rhode Island State Parks within the 3,100-acre Burlingame State Park. It offers approximately 700 rustic campsites and several cabins along Watchaug Pond. Individual sites do not have water, sewer, or electric hookups. Park facilities include a sandy swimming beach, a boat launch, and picnic areas. The 8-mile John Vincent Gormley Trail circles the pond through the park and the adjacent wildlife refuge. The campground is accessible to passenger cars. The nearest town for supplies is Bradford, located about 3 miles away.
