George Washington State Campground

This developed campground is managed by Rhode Island State Parks and is located in the George Washington Management Area. Situated on Bowdish Reservoir, the campground offers approximately 74 gravel sites for trailers and RVs, several hike-in tent sites along the Angell Loop trail, two group sites, and four rustic cabins. Facilities are primitive, with no electric hookups or showers. Water is available from shared spigots, and restrooms are pit toilets or outhouses. The campground is accessible to passenger vehicles. The nearest town for supplies is Glocester, about two miles away.
