Thirty Mile is a developed campground in the Rio Grande National Forest, located in a meadow of spruce and aspen between the Rio Grande River and Squaw Creek. The campground is designed for both tent and trailer camping, with sites accommodating vehicles up to 90 feet long. Each site includes a fire ring, and drinking water is available. The location provides access to fishing, canoeing, and swimming. Two trailheads within the campground, Squaw Creek and Weminuche Pass, lead into the Weminuche Wilderness and connect to the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. The nearest town for supplies is Spar City, about 16 miles away.
