Camping is by permit only and available from Friday through Wednesday. The shoreline is suitable for swimming, bodysurfing, and fishing. Just off the beach is the offshore islet of Mokuʻauia, also known as Goat Island. The town of Kahuku is about 2 miles away for supplies.
