Salt Pond Beach Park
Kaua'i County Parks · Developed campground
This developed campground is managed by Kaua'i County Parks. Located on the south shore, the park's beach features a rock shelf that forms shallow, protected pools for swimming and snorkeling, and it is one of two lifeguarded beaches on the west side. Facilities include restrooms, outdoor showers, drinking water, grills, and shaded picnic tables. The park takes its name from adjacent salt ponds where salt is traditionally made; these ponds are not open to visitors. Camping is by county permit. The nearest town for supplies is Port Allen, about a mile away.
